Overview of Goldeneye

Goldeneye is a name synonymous with James Bond, so perhaps not surprisingly it is also the name that Bond writer Ian Fleming gave to his private estate on the north coast of Jamaica.  It was here, in the original ‘Fleming Villa’ that the famous 007 novels were written.  Now guests can stay in the spacious 5 bedroom accommodation, as well as in a number of outlaying one- and two-bedroom villas and cottages in the extensive 52 acre grounds of the property.

The expansive grounds are home to a multitude of treasures and secrets including coves, private beaches, forests and a lagoon.  There are two restaurants as well as 2 swimming pools, a spa, beach dining and a lovely bar, all with spectacular views out over the surroundings.

Goldeneye has to be seen to be believed.  Its combination of luxurious touches, hints of the ‘real’ Jamaica and outstanding service means it should be right at the top of your list of places to stay on the beautiful island of Jamaica.
