The nightlife and entertainment at The Club is a huge variety of live stage shows and music, and during the day there is a wealth of tours and excursions to go on to truly sample the environment and history of the island: from sea safaris along the coastline to a rum tour, from discovering the historic sites of Barbados to exploring Harrison’s Cave.  Finally for the true romantics out there is a great sunset cruise where you can watch the pinks and reds fade into the sea while sipping cocktails with your loved one.

This great resort has lots to experience, and more, with water sports, pools, a full spa, land sports and an on-site gym to keep you busy and the mind occupied.  After you can wind down in the sauna and steam room to relax those tired muscles.

Rooms

With a choice of 8 room categories and all set in blocks surrounded by lush tropical gardens, lounges and restaurants, the accommodation at The Club is a great place to spend your evenings, unwind and relax after a day in the sun or out exploring the island.

Rooms are furnished with a traditional style and have a bright and vibrant decor.  They offer king size or twin beds and additional guests can make use of a rollaway sofa bed (make specific requests in advance).  All rooms have air conditioning, fans, private bath/shower or walk in shower, safe, telephone, alarm, tea/coffee making, satellite TV and towels.  WiFi is available in the lobby and main bar areas.

Standard – Overlooking the gardens, these rooms have panoramic windows or a French balcony.

Deluxe Pool or Garden View – Staggered around the complex, these rooms have views over the lush gardens or the pool areas from a balcony or patio.  Some rooms have panoramic windows only.

Deluxe Ocean View – Located on the higher floors, they offer stunning panoramic views of the Caribbean from French balconies.  Not suitable if you have walking difficulties.

Deluxe Beachfront – Only a few steps from the beach, these rooms are great if you want to step out of bed and onto the sands in moments.  Offering great views out over the beach and the sea from a French balcony on the 3 upper floors close to the beachfront.

Superior Deluxe Pool or Garden View – Scattered around the complex, these large rooms overlook the pools or gardens from a patio of balcony.  Those rooms on the ground floor feature extended living areas that combine with a patio.

One Bedroom Pool or Garden View Suite – Featuring a living room and separate bedroom with upper floors having a balcony, while most ground floor suites have a combine extended living area and patio for your enjoyment.  They overlook the gardens or pools.

One Bedroom Beachfront Suite – Perfect if you want something a little special, these spacious and luxurious suites are steps from the beach and offer sweeping views over the Caribbean.  They feature a bedroom and separate living area offering the ideal place to unwind and relax.  Some suites have a balcony while others opt for an open wall idea to allow you to be embraced by your surroundings.

One Bedroom Garden Spa Suite – For those seeking a healthy option or a kick start to a new and better lifestyle, there is now a range of spa holidays.  The Spa Suite package includes five 45-minute treatments within a one week a stay, complete with robes and comprehensive spa packs.  The list is extensive and all treatments use Pevonia products.

Restaurants & Bars

The Club features an all inclusive policy and includes breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner on a daily basis.  All drinks by the glass (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) are also included.  There is the option for room service catering for lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages which is available at an additional cost.  This service operates 12pm – 10pm.

Sunset – The main restaurant sits on the oceanfront and offers a wide range of local and international favourites.

Enid’s restaurant – Offering a Caribbean and Bajan style of cuisine in a bright and vibrant setting.

The Club is also home to three bars: Sunset Bar and Lounge, Beach Bar and Tommy’s Rum Shop.  The restaurants also offer a full bar service at your table.

Spa

A health-and-beauty spa offers massage, hydrotherapy, body treatments, men’s and women’s facials, waxing, and hair and nail care (surcharges) and provides saunas and steam rooms. Treatment options include Thalassotherapy algae and seaweed baths, couples massage, aromatherapy salt scrubs, and body wraps (surcharges).

The levy on accommodation, collected in resort, will cost between US$2.50 (£1.90) and $17.50 (£14.50 for 5* Hotels) per room per night until VAT doubles to 15% in 2020 as set by Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley.
