Located in the historic Cap Estate, Villa Kessi is a lovely two-story villa with a commanding hilltop view, overlooking the island’s only 18-hole golf course, the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. This villa was designed by architect Wayne Brown, and features a unique styling that blends colonial Caribbean and European contemporary. In addition, Jalousie shutters and French doors allow Atlantic breezes to flow freely throughout the house. A large indoor common area leads directly to the expansive veranda, sun deck, and stunning infinity pool.
Villa Kessi is 10 minutes from the lively Rodney Bay area, and 5 minutes from an 18-hole championship golf course. Also nearby are other luxury resorts like the Body Holiday, Cap Maison and The Landings. Day passes to these resorts may be purchased, enabling guests to sample their facilities and restaurants.
Bedrooms
The 3 comfortable, oversized bedrooms benefit from air conditioning as well as fans and netting. On the ground floor, 2 bedrooms open out onto the spacious, covered veranda. Respectively, the downstairs bedrooms feature a four-poster superking bed, and 2 bunk beds for up to 4 children. In addition, each room has it’s own en-suite bathroom with shower. The master bedroom comes lavishly appointed with beautiful furnishings, a four-poster superking size bed and its own private balcony looking out across the Caribbean and Atlantic, with Martinique out in the distance.
Communal Area
The large, covered veranda runs alongside the length of the house and includes an outside seating area. Also included with the veranda are a full size billiard/pool table and hammock. Additionally, a wooden sundeck, complete with loungers, surrounds the infinity pool.
Back inside, there is an open-plan dinning and living room and full kitchen with breakfast bar. The addition of vaulted ceilings provide an airy environment, and the gardens surrounding the property are beautifully landscaped with a selection of tropical flora and a loungers/benches tucked away providing a quiet spot to relax.
Staff
The staff includes a housekeeper/cook 6 days a week (Mon-Sat) from 8.30am – 3.30pm. Guests can arrange for start-up groceries and bar supplies to be delivered and paid for on arrival. For an additional fee, a welcome meal can be reserved for the first night in the villa.
There is also a gardener and pool maintenance man 1 or 2 days a week.
Please note that our housekeepers are not trained nannies and should not be expected to look after and/or baby-sit infants and children. If you do make babysitting arrangements with the staff, please be advised that this is at your own risk.
St Lucia Head Tax- There is a new head tax in St Lucia which is $6pp per night for Adults and $3pp per night for children between ages 12-17.
